Featured project

Dubai Opera District, Plot B4

A curved podium wall in Downtown Dubai, planted end to end and open to the public realm. Species are blocked into panels, so the elevation keeps its pattern as it grows in and any single panel can be replanted on its own.

Why PlantBox

Most living walls don't fail at installation. They fail six months later, when watering becomes somebody else's job. PlantBox is built around that problem.

Waters itself

A reservoir in each trough feeds the roots through capillary felt, so the wall never depends on daily attention.

Tells you when

A level indicator on every unit shows when to top up. Maintenance becomes a schedule, not a rescue.

Inside and out

One system covers a lobby and an external elevation, so a scheme needs one supplier and one maintenance regime.

  • 1.8LWater reservoir built into every trough
  • 60×20cmOne module face, 15 cm deep, repeated to any length
  • 0Tools needed. The troughs click and stack
  • 100 percent%Recycled material in every trough

Drag to compare. The same stack, empty and fully planted.

Inside the module

Simple on the wall. Clever inside.

  1. Integrated reservoir

Each trough holds 1.8 litres, with an overflow that passes water evenly down the run.

  2. Capillary felt shelf

Draws water up to the root zone and keeps it evenly moist, top to bottom.

  3. Level indicator

Shows at a glance when a trough needs topping up. No guesswork for the facilities team.

  4. Click and stack

Troughs lock together without tools and take standard 1 litre plants straight from the pot.

Layout
Stacked to the height you need, repeated along the run

Every wall is laid out to its elevation, from a compact feature panel to a full-height stack or a long run across a facade.

  • PlantBox troughs on a curved forecourt wall, planted in stepped blocks of green and burgundy foliage against pale stone cladding

    Public realm

Forecourts and approaches, read from a distance and up close.

  • A tall, densely planted green wall behind blue lounge sofas in a hotel courtyard

    Hospitality and F&B

Screening that turns an outdoor cover into a room.

  • Reception desk in front of a living wall planted in green and purple foliage

    Lobbies and workplace

Reception and breakout walls that people see every day.

  • A dense green wall enclosing a villa terrace beside a sculpted ficus tree

    Residential

How it works

From first message to planted wall

  1. Share the wall

Elevations or a quick sketch, internal or external, and the date you need it planted.

  2. Get a proposal

A system layout, a planting approach and a budget you can put in front of a client.

  3. See it first

We can bring a sample trough to your office or show you a completed installation.

  4. Install and aftercare

We supply and plant the wall, and can quote for planned maintenance after handover.

Three quick questions, then your details. The projects team replies within one working day.

  • A system layout sized to your wall
  • A planting approach for your light and orientation
  • A budget you can take to your client

Rather talk it through?

Your wall brief in four steps

  1. Where the wall is
  2. Roughly how big it is
  3. Where the project is at
  4. Where to send your proposal

Questions from project teams

Something we haven't covered? Ask us directly.

Ask on WhatsApp
How is the wall maintained after handover?

The reservoir does the watering, so maintenance is a scheduled top-up rather than a daily task. Each trough holds 1.8 litres and carries a level indicator, so a facilities team can see the state of a run at a glance. We can also quote for planned maintenance.

Can it go on an external elevation in a UAE summer?

Yes, and it already does. The Plot B4 wall in Downtown Dubai is fully external and publicly accessible. What matters most is the planting schedule and the orientation of the wall, which we work through with you rather than assume.

How large can a single installation get?

There is no fixed ceiling. A large elevation is the same trough repeated. In practice the size is governed by the fixing substrate and access for maintenance, both of which we survey before quoting.

What do you need from us to quote?

Elevations or a dimensioned sketch, the substrate, whether the wall is internal or external, and the date you need it planted by. If you already have a planting intent we will work to it. If not, we will propose one.

Do you supply the plants as well?

Yes. Bioscape supplies and installs the planting as well as the system, and can advise on species for the light levels and orientation you are working with.

Let's plantyour wall.

Send us the elevation and a date. We'll send back a layout, a planting plan and a budget.
